About M0PDJ
Hi, my name is Peter Jenner.
I have been interested in Radio Technology since I was a teenager, but only recently in November 2001 took time to get licensed, being first M3FPJ in November 2001, and then passing the last City and Guilds Radio Amateur Examination in December 2003, I became fully licensed.
I am currently WikiSysop (used to be called webmaster) of the W&DARS site, but I am trying to encourage the other members to do the editing while I just look after the infrastructure.

I am happy to accept mail via Packet Radio on:
- Amprnet Mail: m0pdj@gb7cip.ampr.org
- AX25 Mail: M0PDJ@GB7CIP.#32.GBR.EU
via the Internet
I do intend, when I work out how, to put some form of online form here, to protect members email from spam, and to facilitate messages being submitted. Until then:
- I am a little sensitive about my email address, as I managed to keep it free from Spam so far.
- I don't want it to be published in a way that a internet robot could read.
- It is <mycallsign>@pdj.org.uk, you will have to insert m0pdj instead of <mycallsign>)
For more information about me, and my hobbies, including my Amateur Radio adventures, please do check out my personal website www.pdj.org.uk
Things to Do
Construction Projects
PicATUne
I have completed soldering all the components into the PCB's. I am currently beginning to build the SWR head. I then have the capacitors to build. I am trying to find a suitable housing for the control board at the moment.
TenTec 10m to 2m Transverter
I have built the oscillator and mixer, and all seemed to work OK. Then when I built the receive the pre-amplifier, something has gone wrong. It still works but not the increase in signal I was expecting. I think there is a problem with the FET (static sensitive). I have a new one, and need to install it and repeat the stage 2.0 progress tests.
